UNCW is excited to host the 4th annual Brass Day, an event initiated by Dr. Luebke-Brown.
Dr. Luebke-Brown’s new chamber ensemble, Carolina Camerata, will be premiering a new work by local composer Wayne Fritchie at the CFCC Music Faculty & Friends Concert.
Dr. Luebke-Brown had a lot of fun performing with the Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle in their opening concert of the season.
The UNCW Trumpet Studio had a fantastic time hosting international soloist Rex Richardson on campus. He worked with our students in a masterclass and performed a breathtaking concert with the UNCW Jazz Ensemble.
With the support of the UNCW Office of the Arts, the UNCW brass studios were incredibly fortunate to host the internationally-acclaimed group Seraph Brass for a one-day residency. The group taught an inspiring masterclass and performed a moving recital on the Beckwith Recital Series.
